Karan Johar turns 49, celebrates in Alibaug

Karan Johar is an Indian film director, producer and television personality who works in Hindi films. Karan started his career in the entertainment industry as an actor. He played the role of child actor Shrikant in the Indradhanush aired on Doordarshan in the year 1989. Johar is going to celebrate his 49th Birthday in Alibaug with his family and star friends.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines of social gathering in Mumbai, Karan will be celebrating his birthday in Alibagh with family which includes his mother and two children’s Yash and Roohi and close friends from the entertainment industry.

The close friends of Karan include Virat Kohli, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Siddharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif, Varun Dhawan, Natasha Dalal, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

Johar made his own directorial debut with the romantic comedy-drama film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai starring Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji. The film won him the Filmfare Award for Best Director. He also directed many hit films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Student of the Year, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. He hosts a television talk show, Koffee with Karan and appeared as a judge on reality shows Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, India’s Got Talent, India’s Next Superstars.

Karan will be next seen directing period drama film Takht based on the Mughal era which features Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
